I needed to create a helpful guide for users to sign into their extension number on any desk phone in the business. This is for a multitude of reasons, firstly it takes a lot of work, on a case-by-case basis, to explain to someone how to do it. The guide eliminates this wasted time so I can just send them a link to the guide or, hopefully, they find it themselves as it is listed in an “IT Helpdesk” guides section on the business’s website. Secondly, sometimes we forget how to do it, so the guide is also a helpful resource for IT staff. All the common problems should be listed in a common spot to eliminate excess wasted time. I even eliminated wasted time by using the same AI as in the previous blog post ChatGPT, I only had to rewrite some text. Again, the power of AI is extraordinary.
